Dear friends and travellers of KiteActive,
As a highly valued member of the KiteActive family, we appreciate the trust you place in us that everything will be allright when you travel. In the current environment, it’s important for all of us to travel smarter and more consciously. We, as KiteActive, are personally reaching out to you to update you on the current situation with COVID-19 (the coronavirus) and how KiteActive is responding to it. Our number 1 concern now, and always will be, is the health and safety for our friends and community.
Guests: We are actively working with all our KiteActive Guests who have existing bookings to make intelligent decisions for maintaining or canceling travel reservations while optimising financial implications for credits/refunds, etc. For all Guests who are committed to pursuing booked or new experiences, we are strongly advising the purchase of Trip Cancellation & Medical Evacuation Insurance, which will offer protection to you in the event of unforeseen travel restrictions, personal illness, etc.
We will continue to work with our local intelligence and guesthouses on-site to support all Guest bookings. Please continue to keep us informed of any relevant decisions from your side which may affect any existing bookings. If you have any immediate notifications, please send to email@example.com
Note: For all, already confirmed bookings that will happen on short-notice, we will personally reach out to you and update what the current situation is per destination and discuss what the best solution will be.
The KiteActive team: We are all warm and dry, online and standing by to support our friends. Our Team is making sure to keep their immune-system boosted at 110% to make sure we are standing by to sort these hectic and chaotic times out, together with you.
Friends, local-forces and our team: We encourage everyone to follow these best practices in order to help keep yourself and others healthy:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. Utilize disinfectant wipes or hand sanitizer when available.
We will base our decisions on many information resources and on the (possible) restrictions made by the authorities from each destination. To ensure you always have access to the latest information and guidance, please refer to the following resources for the latest updates:
We encourage you to reach out to our team if you have any questions or concerns. Make sure to stay safe and we hope to see everybody soon in their planned paradise!
All the best and stay safe,
and The entire KiteActive Team
