The KiteActive holidays often go with small, cozy groups. The groups can vary from young to old, but 16 is the minimum age and the number of travellers will never exceed 20 (This is different for the events).  We give lessons to beginners and give tips to advanced boarders, so you can expect any level travelling with us. We also offer many group activities during the trips that you can join. Often you can see who attends the trip via our Facebook event.

Yes, but please contact us first before you use it. We will send you a promotional package for free.

Although this not often happen and it really depends on which location you go we always have a solution. We can always offer some theory lessons and our instructors can organize no wind activities. Think of: wakeboarding, surfing, mountainbike etc. KiteActive is not responsible for the wind.

Yes, you can always contact us for an offer specially for you on your specific dates. But you can also check our Destinations with a list of accommodations on demand.

It varies by air company, but usually you can specify in your booking if you want to travel with special baggage or surf luggage. This usually costs between € 35 and € 50 per flight.  By some air carriers you need to register your boardbag by the phone. If you arrange the ticket through us we will make sure your boardbag is booked and you can check it in on the airport. If you’re traveling with kitesurfing equipment you always need a boardbag to transport all your kitesurfing equipment. Because KiteActive has much more to offer than just beginner courses! Our instructors can teach you all the tricks that you want to learn. Using the video analysis system you will learn all the tricks 3 times faster! Also, there are other clinics and workshops offered during our trips and the total atmosphere during our travels is a great plus! Each trip can be booked even without lessons, just based on the package Hotel, Flight and Transfer.

Absolutely not. It’s entirely up to you whether or not you participate in any given activity we provide. If you’re the type of person who’d rather spend all day at the beach, you’re more than welcome to. But of course you’d be missing out on a ton of fun activities!

Absolutely! You might feel a little awkward at first, but it’ll only take you a few hours to get to know the rest of the group. A lot of our guests come by themselves, but there’s nothing more fun than getting to know new people on a holiday with the same passion.

No, we do not charge any extra fees or fuel surcharges. The listed price is the price you pay. Including tax.

You can cancel your trip until two days after your booking for free. Thereafter, the costs will be on your account. If you don’t have a cancellation insurance KiteActive can not be liable for your cancellation. What you can do is find someone who wants to join your trip or ask your cancellation insurance.

No, if your vacation doesn’t start in 2 weeks you can make an pre payment of 40% of the total amount to secure your booking. The other amount needs to be paid 2 weeks before you go on your holiday! If you want to agree on different terms or payment schedules please let us know.

Although this will almost never happen, sometimes we need a minimum amount of people for a trip. We will always let you know in advance and communicate with our travellers for solutions. KiteActive is not liable for this.

Preparation

We understand that you may not have a printer handy when you’re traveling so it is not necessary to have a printed copy. However, we require that you show ID matching your reservation and also the Order # that is immediately emailed to you after you make your reservation.

It is important to bring:

  • Your kitegear (the right sizes) and remember the golden rule: if it is possible, take all your sizes with you!!
  • Proper clothing (also some warm clothing can be neccesary)
  • Sunglasses, also for in the water the sun can be intense
  • Pasport, make also sure it is valid 6 months before you leave
  • An Lycra can be good for on the water against the sun
  • Nurse package for small cuts etc
  • Good sun cream waterproof
  • If you have your own harness and wetsuit, always bring it with you! Your own gear always fits the best!
  • Bring good vibes with you! 🙂
